Semi-Rustic cabins typically have electricity with kitchen applicances, a private sauna and outdoor outhouse.
Everet’s Cabin
Located on the old Coyote Canyon (near Wolf Tracks & the Highlands). Access is by driving down Kinnunen Road to the end and through the gate to the parking area, walk across the ski trail 50 feet and you are in the cabin
A semi rustic cabin 2BR/sleeps 10 (mattresses but not bedding), with electricity, kitchen with refrigerator/range/microwave, dishes/basic pots and pans, and well water (outside), drive-up access, wood heat (cabin will be cold when you arrive).
Outhouse and a private wood fired sauna. Firewood is stocked in adjacent woodshed(s).kidling. news paper, matches are in the cabin, toilet paper and garbage bags are as well. Trash and recycles go in the trail;head dumpster by the horse corral.

Spanky’s Cabin
Located on Spank’s Spill (near the entrance to the dog friendly Trails across the road.) This cabin is dog friendly.
A semi rustic cabin 2BR/sleeps 8 (mattresses but not bedding), with electric lights and one outlet, dishes/basic pots and pans, drive-up and park 75 yards away, wood heat (cabin will be cold when you arrive). Outhouse and a semi-private wood fired sauna. Firewood is stocked in adjacent woodshed.
The cabin is 24 ft by 24 ft and has 2 bedrooms, each with 3 beds in the form of 1 set of bunks, 30 by 75 inches and a full size bed 55 inches by 75 inches. The mattresses are regular bed mattresses. The out house is close by and has a light. There is a large table that seats 8 and a sofa and rocking chair. The cabin has a concrete floor and is heated with a wood stove. Priced at $200 weekday nights and $250 for Holidays and weekend nights.
The semi-private sauna is included in the rent and is available from 5:30 – 7:00. It is shared with Rascals who have it from 4:00 – 5:30. It needs to be lit 1 – 2 hours ahead and kept warm. There is not a shower in the sauna, but washing up can be done by heating the well water in the buckets on the top shelf. Don’t forget your sauna towels.

Semi-Rustic Cabin Notes
A charcoal pedestal grill is located outside, bring your charcoal. There is a cast iron fry pan and a water kettle for boiling water. This cabin has additional pots, pans, dishes and silverware that other campers have left.
Kindling, newspaper and toilet paper are stocked in the cabin. For Everet’s Cabin, your water containers can be filled at the well by the woodshed. For Spanky’s Cabin, your water containers can be filled at the trailhead across the street, and more supplies are in the brown
cabinet on the rustic sauna woodshed. Bring your own bedding and towels for the sauna.
Be sure to sign in the cabin log book and read some of the journal entries.
Park in the designated area to keep the plow driver happy. For Everet’s Cabin, access to the cabin is by driving down Kinnunen Road to the end and up the driveway but not across the ski trail to the front door. You will have a 50 ft walk to the cabin. For Spanky’s Cabin, access to the cabin is by driving across the road to E5298 to the end of the parking lot and park by the Rustic Sauna. You will have a 250 ft walk to the cabin. A sled is available by the Rustic Sauna woodshed.
